The conference organizers wish to explain that this first time, the conference has a predominance of US speakers for three reasons:
1. This is the fastest way to focus US money on a multinational need.
2. This is the fastest way to start the fiscal year and get the $5M in start-up funding from 1 October.
3. This conference serves a dual purspoe in mobilizing the Congressional staff and OMB staff now conscious of the budgetary implications for both intelligence and defense.
It is our intent in the future to limit US speakers to less than one third, and to move the event to any nations that wish to host it from year to year. We do not "own" this event, we offer it as a gift to the community of peoples and nations. We plan to invite several foundations, including the UN Foundation and the Army Foundation, to attend the event and adopt it as their own.
Robert Steele, the organizer, is in the process of moving into a new role focused on facilitating multinational information sharing and decision support for global stabilization, receonstruction, humanitarian assistance, and disaster relief operations, while pioneering predictive analysis and peaceful preventive investment coordination against the ten high-level threats to humanity.
