Between $500 billion and $1 trillion are obligated each year by charitable foundations and individuals. Those resources do not have a strategic plan that is coherent and comprehensive. This book will take at lerast a year, maybe two, but when we are done, we hope to have both a book that can guide strategic giving against the ten high-level threats by harmonizing the twelve policies, and an online Global Range of Gifts Table that can identify all needs from $10 to $100 million, such that foundations and individuals can "opt-in" to an annual donor's plan that is validated by the United Nations, if we can ever get them to create the necessary position of Assistant Secretary General for Decision Support.
